STATE TEST

The SAT-10 (Stanford Achievement Test) is a state-required standardized assessment administered once each academic year, typically during the month of April. This assessment measures student achievement and ensures alignment with state educational standards.

The SAT-10 is administered over the course of one full week. Student attendance is required for the entire testing period, as each testing day is necessary to complete all components of the assessment. Due to state requirements, make-up testing opportunities may be limited.

The assessment consists of four academic subject areas:

  • Reading / Language

  • Mathematics

  • Science

  • Social Studies

To support student success, students will receive review and preparation activities prior to the testing week as part of their regular classroom instruction.

Families are encouraged to support their child by ensuring:

  • Consistent and on-time attendance throughout the testing week

  • Adequate rest each night during the testing period

  • A calm and positive mindset toward testing

We appreciate your continued partnership in supporting student learning and compliance with state testing requirements.
