We are pleased to inform you that Happy Hearts Elementary School uses ClassDojo as one
of our main tools for communication between the school and families.
ClassDojo is a secure communication platform that allows parents to stay informed and
connected with what is happening in their child’s classroom and at school.
What will ClassDojo be used for?
ClassDojo will be used for:
● Important school announcements and reminders
● Communication between teachers and parents
● Classroom updates and photos (when applicable)
● Behavior feedback and positive reinforcement
● Messages regarding events, activities, or emergencies
Please note that official school communication will be shared through ClassDojo, so it is
very important that all families are connected and actively checking the app.
How do I get started?
If you are new to ClassDojo, please follow these steps:
1. Download the ClassDojo app on your phone or tablet:

2. Create a free parent account using your email address.
3. Once your account is created, accept the invitation sent by the school or your child’s
teacher to connect to your child’s class.
4. Make sure notifications are turned ON so you do not miss important messages.
Important Reminder
ClassDojo should be checked daily, as it will be our primary communication tool. If you
experience any difficulties creating your account or accessing the app, please contact
the school office and we will gladly assist you.
